RAF Typhoons bomb a Daesh bunker in western Iraq

Video posted on the Ministry of Defence’s YouTube channel today. On Wednesday December 7th 2016, RAF Typhoon FGR.4s operating out of RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus attacked a Daesh bunker in western Iraq and a Daesh-held building north of Mosul.

    • I remember the days when the Tornado GR.1 was the RAF’s all-singing, all-dancing super weapon. While I look at the GR.4 now and think how more capable it is I also can’t help but see just how old the aircraft is now. I will be sorry to see the old girl go but unlike the Harrier GR.9 it is the Tornado’s time to bow out with honour.
